CSSR Annual Conference 2023
CSSR’s annual conference is an open forum for exchange of novel concepts and technology developments within subsurface research that can facilitate the energy transition on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS). The conference will explore the consequences of switching to variable/uncertain renewable energy supply to power offshore operations. Sessions will spotlight cutting-edge research within petroleum, CCS and underground energy storage.
The 2-day event is a physical meeting held in Bergen, Norway.
Day 1: Net-zero ambitions and the green transition on the NCS– Keynote speakers will highlight policy, industry and scientific perspectives of electrification and the green transition both nationally and internationally.
Day 2: Frontiers in subsurface research — Â Invited talks from international research partners will anchor deep-dive technical sessions covering CSSR’s comprehensive research program at NORCE and University of Bergen.
